Shingles usually causes a rash in a dermatome pattern and does not cross the midline.
Before the rash appears, there usually and increased sensation/pain in skin/area--sometimes will occur before the rash appears. The rash is raised and looks like chicken pox. The herpes virus lays dormant in the spinal column and sometimes later in life/stress/chemo/immunosuppression the painful rash will appear.

In brief: Any infection on

that left side can lead to an enlarged lymph node.
If its really shingles, though, it will extend typically from the middle of your back all the way around in what's called a dermatome, with blisters on red bases. Hope that helps. if possibly shingles need to see doctor for prescription to reduce post herpetic neuralgia or pain

Lump in groin may be lymph gland( probably)but can be something else.
Small rash at base of spine again could be rash for allergy or beginning of singles , but you should have pain f it is singles .
