In brief: Recent filling

After dental treatment, teeth can be sensitive.
If a silver filling was placed, the tooth can appear darker than normal, especially if the decay was big and deep. If the pain is constant, throbbing and hurts a lot, return to the dental office for a post op check or follow-up. Your dentist should be able to answer your questions. Good luck

In brief: Visit your dentist

Did you have a silver filling on the back tooth? Silver fillings do look grey, & if the filling is large, the tooth may look grey.
If the cavity was very deep before the filling, your tooth pulp may be going bad & you may need root canal on that tooth. If the bite is off, after the filling, whenever you bite or eat, tooth may hurt.Bite adjustment may relieve this pain.your dentist can evaluate.
