Can we take emergency contraceptive pill after every sex?

Please don't. Emergency contraceptive pills are designed to be used after an episode of failed birth control NOT as regular birth control.
Nuclear Option. No. That is like always using a nuclear bomb when there are safer and wiser and healthier forms of contraception.

Asked and Answered. No. No reason to keep asking us the same question. The answer is not going to change. Emergency contraception is not for repeated or frequent use. I had abortion and it's been 7 days. Can I still take an Emergency Contraceptive pill after having an unprotected sex? I am totally confused please

Sounds confusing. A woman willingly having unprotected sex 7 days after losing her baby fetus via an abortion sounds confused. She can check with her Dr. about how long to wait after an abortion before having sex. Asking about EC pills suggests she doesn't want to get pregnant, but then why have sex so soon after aborting, and why have unprotected sex? The safest thing may be to stop sex, until the Dr. says ok. Read more...

I have had unprotected sex and wondering if I can take the combined pill microgynon 30 as an emergency contraceptive pill?

Emergency contracept. In theory yes - since they both contain 150micrograms of Levonorgestrel with the microgynon also containing 30 mcg of ethynil estradiol. However, the side effect profile will be different than Plan B since there is the estradiol component. In a pinch you could use the microgynon but I know of no studies showing the efficacy. You need to use it before 72 hours. Good luck. Read more...

What do you advise if I was on my second day of my menstrual cycle when I had unprotected sex. Do I still needs to take a emergency contraceptive pill?

Probably best just to take it. I would estimate based upon your age and if your periods are regular that your chances of pregnancy are quite low. Read more...
