Is high eosinophils count related to hiv?

Depends. Eoisinophil counts can increase due to some infections (parasites), allergies and allergic reactions, connective tissue disorders, and some neoplasms (cancers). Hiv typically does not cause an elevation in these cells. However, if someone has an opportunistic infection like some kinds of parasites, the eopsinophil count can increase. Cd4 t-cells are typically affected by HIV infection.
