In brief: Ruptured spleen

It would have to be a lot of force put on your spleen for it to rupture.
With enough force, a blow to your abdomen during a sporting injury, a fistfight, or a car accident might lead to a ruptured spleen, which could cause life-threatening internal bleeding.

In brief: NOT usually

The spleen is usually 'tucked away' under the rib cage on the left side of the upper abdomen.
When the spleen is enlarged due to disease then it becomes vulnerable to rupture. A direct blow to the left upper quadrant of the abdomen must be avoided (as in contact sports). Just pushing on an enlarged spleen should not cause a problem but i would avoid that too!
