In brief: GOOD, but....
Otc pin-worm medication, pyrantel (pin-rid, pin-x) works well but reinfection with e.
Vermicularis immediately after the completion of drug therapy is common. Interestingly: pyrantel works by making the worms unable to move (paralyzed ) so that the body can remove them naturally in the stool. However, pinworm eggs remain infective for 2 weeks. So here's the treatment: 1/week for 3 weeks (>2yrs).
