LO Vitamin D/calcium
In us, milk is fortified with vitamin d, so not drinking milk and cutting out milk products altogether requires vitamin d supplementation.
Usual starting vitamin d dose is 400 units/day but doses up to 1000-2000 units /day can be used in vitamin d deficiency
may need supplemented also:
according to n.I.H. 1000+mg calcium/day is needed for ages 4yrs & up.
