Because of our poor stewardship of our planet, our air, water and food are all polluted.
The only answer is a pristine diet so that cellular energy is at its best. Even that is not enough because our food does not contain the vitamin/mineral content needed for good health.

Another factor is that we may all be "too clean"...and not giving our immune system "practice working" against germs....which could decrease allergies.
