Throat pain, itching with cough and headache, fever and body ache?

Viral syndrome. This is likely a upper respiratory viral infection in evolution. Sore throat (pharyngitis) with fever, followed by cough and other flu like symptoms. Best treatment is rest, plenty of fluids, tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for aches and fever. A decongestant and cough suppressant may be helpful when these symptoms arise. Throat lozenges can help with the sore throat. If no better in 3-5 days, see MD.
