Had CT angiogram w contrast. Now card wants nuc stress test. Nurse said the pulm ordered CTA and just lungs looked at. Doesn't CTA look at heart too?

The pul, doc ,if looking for pulmonary embolism it may not help but can see calcification on-the coronary artery if not a dedicated CTA for coronary calcium score it is not adequate and also this doesn't give a accurate status of stenosis .
Stress test is the best option.a calcium score by itself shows there is coronary atherosclerosis not severity of disease
