In brief: Blurred, eye muscles

Lamotrigine can cause blurred vision in about 1/2 the patients who take it because it can affect the internal eye muscles that facilitate focus.
Double vision can occur in about 1/4 of patients because of similar receptors on the eye muscles. The blurry vision can be helped with glasses; see your eyemd promptly if you are having problems with Lamictal as the side effects can be dealt with.
