Please tell doc. I don't know what you mean by funny, but sometimes at the beginning of treatment, anxiety symptoms can appear. These can feel strange until you get used to the medication. Other typical symptoms include headaches, gastrointestinal upset, rare suicidal thinking in your age group, and a manic reaction. Tremors can also occur. Rashes are rare. Possible sideeffects. Fluoxetine - an ssri medication - can sometimes within the 1st few days cause you to have headache, nausea, muscle tension/aches, loss of appetite and a feeling of warmth. Most of those will diminish and disappear on their own; sometimes, you will need to take Aspirin or Acetaminophen for headache or an antacid or histamine-blocker for nausea.
