What happens during an office visit to the voice center?

Team approach. Most voice centers are run by an otolaryngologist (ENT) who specializes in voice (laryngology). You will also likely be seen by a speech pathologist who has special training for voice patients. You will likely have a routine nasopharyngoscopy and possibly video stroboscopy to take a detailed look at your vocal cords.
Uncertain. It may not be affected by the office visit. An ENT physician can help evaluate your vocal cords.
