Had craniotomy surgery two months ago and about a month I developed a swollen lymph node under ear side of surgery. Doc not concerned. Need testing?

In brief: Most likely not

The lymph nodes are like our drainage system. After a major surgery like that, there is bound to be some inflammation, cell debris that the lymph nodes have to handle.
When they do, they typically become enlarged and/or hard/palpable. It should resolve in time, but isn't anything to be "worried" about. It's most likely normal physiology in response to surgery.
