Some side effects. Ludiomil (maprotiline) is a "tetracyclic" antidepressant that is quite safe, although you might initially experience mood swings, fatigue, and/or headache as your body is adapting -- remember that, in order to get a more robust response, you should consider not just increasing the dose but also decreasing it -- sometimes less is better -- and certainly will result in fewer adverse side effects -- good luck!
