In brief: What kind of bad?

Librax (clinidium and chlordiazepoxide) is a very old (and in my opinion obsolete and irrational) drug, containing a tranquilizer (since the thought is people with irritable bowel symptoms are all anxious) and an antispasmodic.
Both can cause significant side effects, including constipation, urinary retention, excessive sedation, slow heart rate, dizziness and lightheadedness. There are better treatments for IBS.
