My testicle and groin hurts sometimes but bladder kidney prostate and testicles in ultra sound was ok, should I be concern about hernia or epidimity?

Exam needed. To say you may have a hernia or not is not possible without an examination. In epididymitis, there is swelling and tenderness in the area behind the testis. You should have a doctor examine you to answer your concern.

For about 7 months, I have had an aching feeling in my testicles, lower back and groin/lower abdomen that comes and goes. Surgeon said it was not a hernia and suggested a strain. It's not painful.

GET ULTRASOUND. It could be the result of a varicocele or cyst. Get an ultrasound to check for any enlargements or growths. Get a serum blood test for HCG level to rule out seminoma, a type of testicular tumor. Also, get a blood test for complete blood count to check white blood cells and rule out subclinical infection. In addition, get a c-reactive protein (CRP) as this is a marker for general inflammation. Read more...

Otherwise, there are lots of options-epididymitis, std, cancer. Read more...

Don't freak out yet. Testicular cancer in both testicles simultaneously is not very common. Testis pain is also not the only symptom of testicular cancer. Making sure you have been checking the feel and consistency of the testicles are very important. If the one or both testicles are much harder than usual, it might be of more concern, however, an US is the definitive way to figure it out. Read more...
