In brief: Yes.

Children's medical centers have resources who specialize in child bereavement.
Your pediatrician, school, psychologist or psychiatrist can also assist. Don't underestimate your clergy or other parents who have struggled with similar experiences.

In brief: Yes

Most Pediatric oncology programs have psychosocial support teams that have bereavement services.
The counselor function can be served by social worker and / or psychologist, depending on the program structure.
