What's the best way for an rn nurse to start in aesthetics/spa work?

In brief: Depends
This really depends on the role the rn is intended to play in the spa.
If actively injecting fillers, neurotoxins administering laser treatments, it would be best to gain experience in a busy medical practice first. A few larger med spa national "chains are willing to train their staff if you meet their criteria. Great interpersonal skills and neat appearance are a plus in an aesthetic setting.

Depends on the state too as some states require nurses (as opposed to laser technicians). We hire people who went to school. Courses are cost effective and quick. Look into Institute for Laser Medicine as an option.
