Residential care should address the needs of the individual, regardless of the illness (whether it's mental health, pt, ot, etc).
Specialized attention to treating anxiety, for example, in a geriatric population can greatly improve quality of life. And treating anxiety in these individuals is very different than treating anxiety in a younger population.
