My glands behind my ears swell up the week before my period, is this anything to be concerned about?

In brief: No

I am not aware of any "glands" immediately posterior (behind) your ears.
Occasionally, lymph nodes may be present. But if this occurs on a monthly basis, it may be some benign form of edema (swelling). If the swellings are painless and disappear shortly thereafter, it could not be anything serious.
