Unfortunately, life does not carefuly distribute problems evenly.
The presence of one type of ld increases the risk of others. However, it is not a sure thing--lots of people have just ld to deal with, which is plenty. Those with ld also are more likely to have adhd, anxiety, and other psychiatric disorders., and those with adhd are at increased risk of having an ld.

Most of the time, dyslexia is not isolated and other disorders are also present as a comorbid condition. Psychometric testing can help you figure this out!
