In brief: Probably skeletal

This discomfort may well be musculoskeletal in origin and have no relationship to the gall bladder surgery.
If the discomfort is affected by motion such as turning, twisting and if there is tenderness over the area, these points would be consistent with musculoskeletal pain.A rash would suggest shingles. See your Physician if heat and a course of NSAIDS like Ibuprofen Don't help or if a rash appear

In brief: Any GI Symptoms?

If you are also having problems eating, keeping food down, belly pain, then it may be post op issues.
If none of those symptoms, then possibly Musckuloskeletal-consider u may have been on your back, sitting a bit and not being in your normal routing, which can affect your back also.
