Is it normal for my infant's bowel movements to be lightly colored?

In brief: Yes
Baby stool (poop) can be light colored, usually a blend of yellow with some brown or green.
However, if the poop gets lighter and lighter in color, becoming a grey/white color, then there is a problem (not enough bile is mixing into the stool). A doctor will then need to evaluate the baby, to look for a liver or gall bladder problem causing the very light colored stool.

Yes. Normally infant's bowel movements range from a light yellow or green to brown in color. This is quite dependent on the diet at the time.
Once solid food is being introduced the color can vary day to day. If the stool is very pale (very light yellow to white) with any consistency it is important to have your infant examined by your pediatrician.
