There are multiple types of vascular procedures done on the hand.
Aneurysms can form in the hand & require repair (e.g. hypothenar hammer syndrome). Traumatic injury to the hand can require repair of injured blood vessels to prevent the loss of hand or fingers. If blood clots travel to the hand then catheter thrombolysis can often be needed. Typically done by either a vascular or hand surgeon
