This actually is an interesting question.
There are no guarantees in life and you could get an amoeba at any time. However, it would be really unlikely with first potable and then filtered water. I would assume you are using clean municipal water and then extra filtering it with Brita. So, the risk is low, but there are just no guarantees: nothing in medicine is ever 100%
