The inferior and basilar part of the left ventricle show decreased movement.
Hypo(decreased) kinesis(motility). Usually because of compromised blood supply to that part of the heart because the local coronary has a critical stenosis or there was an infarct because the coronary feeding that area closed or is severely blocked.
