In brief: Water and Vinegar

Store the mouthguard overnight in water, adding half of a teaspoon of white vinegar will help keep them clean and odor free.

In brief: Brush or soak

Do you brush the guard or soak it in a proper solution? That will help get the bacteria off it that causes the foul smell.
It should be done at least once a day.

In brief: Here are some tips.

Guard odor is very common.
Tip #1: simply brushing your guard after every meal just as you would your teeth. The morning is crucial as it will help get rid of your morning breath. Tip #2: floss your teeth on a daily basis. Will smell terrible food sits in ur guard. Tip #3: not only is rinsing with an antimicrobial mouth wash very important for your mouth, it can also act as an odor killer.
