In brief: EVERY HOME VARIES

Like in a "natural home", foster homes vary greatly.
Most of the people involved in foster care do it for the benefit of the kids, but occassionally you run across a home where there are other motives for having foster kids. Just like bio parents can vary in their love and skill at being a parent, so can foster parents. The big key to a great foster home is open communication - talk things out!
