Just been increased to 300mg a day venlafaxine. Do I need an ecg?

In brief: Not sure

Venlafaxine 300 mg sounds a bit too much.
I don't normally do ecgs on patients on venlafaxine. I think it's above the recommended ceiling dose and if you do carry history of heart disease, it would probably not harm to have one done just to be on a safe side.
