This is used for the symptomatic treatment of parkinson's disease alone or with levodopa.
Dose related side effects are common. Drowsiness, vertigo, headache, and dizziness occur in cns. High doses cause nervousness, agitation, anxiety, delirium, and confusion especially in older patients. Blurred vision, dry mouth, impaired sweating, abdominal discomfort, mydriasis and constipation also occur.
