Rash in inner elbows, itchy. What is it?

Rash. there are a number of possibilities for this. an intercrural dermatitis is one. this may be related to heat and sweating. Are there any rashes in other places? Has there been contact with an allergen such as sumac or poison ivy? Often the treatment is a topical steroid as the cause may be illusive.

My bf & I both have a rash on the right side of our necks and right inner elbows. The rashes are red, raised, and itchy. Any ideas what it is?

Allergic reaction? If two normal healthy people start to get similar rashes on just the neck and part of one arm, and the bumps are itchy, red, and raised, it is likely that they have some allergic reaction. Reactions may be to poison oak, poison ivy, cosmetics, sunscreens, foods they shared, animals they petted, etc... It could also be "bugs" that bit them both, such as mosquitos or other insects. Hi there, I have itchy elbows, no rashes or bumps, they just itch and I can't seem to make it go away?

ITCHY ELBOWS? HOW LONG HAVE THEY BEEN ITCHY? SOUNDS LIKE A CONTACT DERMATITIS FROM SOMETHING YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH. THINK HARD WHAT YOU WERE DOING JUST BEFORE THE ITCHING BEGAN . . . IT DOESNT SOUND SERIOUS OR CONTAGIOUS. SEE YOUR PCP OR A DERMATOLOGIST TO RELIEVE YOUR WORRY. BEST LUCK. Read more...

Been experiencing small red rashes and/or lumps on the inside of my left elbow only, vary in size. Usually not itchy, but always in the same spot.?

Need more info. Dermatology is pretty visual, so it's hard to know what is going on without seeing it. Eczema, psoriasis, and urticaria (hives) can develop around the elbows, though eczema and hives tend to be itchy. Sometimes an irritant or mild allergic contact dermatitis can present in the same place as well. I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist to help solve this one. Read more...
