In brief: Avoid running!

Bicycling is great, but avoid lower extremity loading activities.
Remember, avoid concussive activity. Keep in mind that degenerative arthritis or inflammatory arthritis can, in some people cause more stiffness than pain. You may end up seeing your doctor and getting a simple ap-pelvis and some blood tests (crp).
