How long after you gall bladder removal can you have sex?

Sex after surgery. Pretty much the only restriction is related to your personal pain. If you are able to tolerate it you can do it. The only issue is lifting. If you have a slightly larger incision then no heavy lifting (I tell folks 20-30 lbs max) for about 4 weeks is recommended. This decreases your chance of developing a hernia greatly. OVerall though, no real restrictions unless it physically hurts.
