Possibly. It is reasonable for a menatruating woman to take iron, usually an iron containing multi-vitamin. Higher dose iron should be for those are known to be deficient, are bleeding or maybe pregnant. Iron is a problem though for people with genetic diseases like hemochromatosis, chronic hepatitis and various blood diseases associated with anemia (not iron difficiency). .
