Can I take B12 shots if I have high blood pressure? Thanks in advance.

Yes and No! In some patients with hypertension, the level of homocysteine in the blood may be high which put them at risk for cardiovascular diseases, supplementation with folic acid, vitamin B6 and B12 can reverse that . On the other hand, toxic high levels of Vitamin B12 can cause hypocalcemia and worsening of high blood pressure. So ask your PCP to check your levels at the beginning and during the therapy!
