Swelling of the Fallopian tubes related to hormonal changes and to ovulation itself could cause cramps or the tubes may be cramping to help move the egg down the tubes to the uterus.
Some call this mittelschmerz, distinguished from typical menstrual cramps by its timing of two weeks after the end of menses, but ovulation timing may be different in diff women. Try OTC pain meds, then MD if needed
