In brief: By feeding them

Sadly, there are many children in our country whose parents cannot feed them, and for some of those kids, the only meals they really get in a week are the meals and snacks they get at school.
Our schools provide a much needed safety net for these kids. Without the food provided there, the kids would be in much worse shape than they are.

In brief: School meals

Schol food rpograms if served in ahelaht conscious manner can help boost health of kids.
If serve unhealthy foods it does more harm, so check the menu on the program.
