Breast implant /lift. Deflation of your breasts after childbirth or weight loss can be treated by either removing the excess skin with a breast lift or adding volume to the breast with a breast implant. Often a combination of the two procedures, known as mastopexy augmentation (breast lift with implant), is needed to fully address both the excess skin and loss of volume.
Support and time. To a large degree this depends on your genetics which will determine your skin elasticity and ligamentous structures supporting the breast (cooper's ligaments). Duration and degree of engorgement during lactation may also have an effect. Once you have completed nursing, good supportive/compressive garments and time will determine the ultimate appearance of your breasts. Give this at least 4 months.
