How many BPM should an 8th grade child's pulse have when excerising?

In brief: Depends
More vigorous exercise will cause a higher number of beats per minute.
Given the same exercise intensity, a less fit person will reach a high heart rate faster, and the heart rate will come down slower after the exercise is done. If you have an 8th grade child and you're concerned about his heart, don't count beats, see his pediatrician and get him checked out.
