In brief: No

Surgeons, radiologists, internal medicine and family practice doctors do.
Hospitalists and anesthesiologists do also. Pediatricians and obstetricians do. Sorry to ones i left out. Being a doctor is hard work.

Emergency Medicine

In brief: Definitely not

As far as shift work goes, er docs and hospitalists (often internists) are different that way.
Many other specialists are on call on nights and weekends which can amount to a few phone calls to a load of work.
