Prelabor cesarean section (not really elective as you are pregnant and have to deliver somehow) is a safe procedure for both mother and fetus the first time, however it produces increased risks for future reproduction (infertility, miscarriage, fetal loss, accreta, previa, bleeding, death).
Consider carefully with your family and doctor if this a good choice for you (if you only want 1-2 children).
