No withdrawal! Oral contraceptives have no real withdrawal symptoms like those experienced with other drugs such as opioids and anxiolyitcs (vicoden and Valium respectively). You may even resume ovulation right away and become pregnant in a few cycles. If you had pms symptoms relieved by the pill, you may experience these again.
How long does the brown spotting last...beeen taking Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) for nearly two wks. Period finished a wk ago. Makes me emotional.
Variable. Spotting on any birth control pill may last up to 3 months or longer. If it is present even in the second pack then it is best to switch your pill. This dose may be low for you. Or the combination in Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) may not be suitable for you. You can try Loestrin 1/20 and see what happens or you can go to a higher dose Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) which is called Yasmin. I know it is frustrating to have this spotting last so long.
On Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) for about three months period lasting long than last cycle 8 days also just finished augmentin is it normal to have long period?
Yes it can happen. Most people will have period last 5to7 days but some will have it up to 8days and it is not that unusual. It ia not related to your taking Augmentin and Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) may or may not have influenced it.
I'm on yaz, (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) if blood comes before I start taking the last 4 white pills, what does it mean?
Chances in menses. No issues. Its common to have irregular periods while on birth control (hormones). Just keep taking Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) daily to reduce chances of pregnancy. The last 4 white pills have no hormones in them. Remember always practice safe sex. Use condoms. Take care.
Take Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) at 9pm vommitted at 7:45 am felt upset last night is it possible that the tablet did not settle on my chest?
No. Your pill was in your system for hours before vomiting so it still will work fine.
Depends. Normally you should ovulate within 2 weeks of stopping ocp and have a period 21-28 days later. But sometimes skipped periods or irregular vaginal bleeding can be seen as well.
