Skin cancer (basal cell, squamous cell and melanoma) are related to sun exposure and sunburns.
Use protection (hats, clothing, shade and sunblock that protects against UVa and UVb radiation. Minimize being in the sun when the rays are strongest (10 to 2). And never use tanning beds.
