In brief: Absolutely Not
In fact, current studies demonstrate that not only is there no benefit to delay but the risk of the diseases occurring (pertussis or whooping cough) is statistically higher. Be wise and immunize on time.
Remeber these recommendations are based on expert opinions and research. Trust the pediatricians, not the chiropracter or actress.

In brief: Tragic consequences
Those who delay the vaccines are opening their child too significant risk.
The unvaccinated kid is 27x more likely to get pertussis & 60% of pertussis deaths occur in kids under 4m. Vaccine delays or avoidance has led to >pertussis in the country, increasing from 1500/yr in 90's to 13, 500 in'09. An estimate of 25 preventable deaths/yr occur in this country due to such misguided choices.
