Diagnose PD. Parkinsons disease is often diagnosed by a history and a clinical exam. The history helps to evaluate if there are any medicines or other factors that can explain the symptoms. The exam should show evidence of muscular rigidity, postural instability or slowness of movement- these are clinical features that are needed to make the diagnosis. Hope that helps!
