What may be the cause of frequent fevers in my 2 year old child?

In brief: Anything
2 year olds are frequently getting infected with viruses, usually from family or playmates.
They have not yet developed immune responses to many of the organisms (germs) they encounter, but as they develop antibodies these episodes are likely to become less and less frequent. This may continue until usually about age 5, but varies with the child.
