Better belly exercises strengthen your core muscles- sit ups not the best choice. Instead try pilates or yoga style exercises. Beginners or exercise CDs for new mothers usually have the lower impact, but very effective exercises. Don't forget to walk outside daily with your baby via wearing or stroller. Great aerobic exercise! Also a wonderful stress reducer, source of Vitamin D on sunny days!
