You can't make it go away but sometimes the little things help.
Oatmeal baths help, calamine lotion helps. Sometimes bendryl by mouth helps but will make them sleepy so i recommend it more at night. Tlc helps best.

Oatmeal baths (aveeno is one popular brand) will soothe the itching better than just about anything. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (an over-the-counter antihistamine) is somewhat effective in decreasing the itching, but will cause drowsiness in most people. Cool washcloths may help.
