And of the 3, the Zytiga excites me because it works on the progressing cancer's mechanis. Ultra-sensitivity to very tiny levels of testosterone. All of these are expensive.

X-tandi ( enzalutamide) excites me more than zytiga. it is expensive .

In brief: Another new drug
Enzalutamide (xtandi) was approved by the fda.
This drug joins sipuleucel-t (provenge), abiratarone (zytiga) and cabzitaxel as drugs that improve overall survival in patients with advanced prostate cancer. Another drug, radium 223, (xofigo) was just approved that targets cancer in bone and improve survival. Prostvac is a vaccine that is in phase 3 clinical trials.

X-Tandi ( enzalutamide) was formerly known/called as MDV-3100

Yes...Xofigo significantly improved overall survival in men with metastatic, hormone-refractory prostate cancer that has spread to bones (but not other organs). Overall survival has been shown to be increased by approximately 3-4 months.

In brief: Prostate ca drugs
Jevtana, zytiga, (abiraterone acetate) Provenge are new drugs available in the market for prostate cancer.
Mvd-3100- soon would also be availabe in the market as the independent data monitoring committee (idmc) had recommended ending the phase 3 trial early due to extremely positive efficacy- using mvd-3100. http://www.drugs.com/jevtana.html http://www.Drugs.Com/zytiga.Html http://www.Drugs.Com/provenge.Html.
